Has Buddyhead jumped the shark? Some years ago, Arthur Fonzarelli jumped a literal and proverbial shark on "Happy Days," and all signs point to the label doing the same with the PoPo’s self-titled release. This time, however, the man waterskiing in a leather jacket has been supplanted by a dance-punk band, that just a few years ago, would have been unceremoniously lambasted just as the Faint and Hot Hot Heat were before them.

The album art is a ripoff of some schizo artist's work. is I feel Mysterious Today a Wire cover? If so, then shame on the reviewer for failing to note it. Oh no! the popo!!! i cant do another nickle!! I actually like small doses of The Faint, but the legions of imitators have driven this genre into the dirt. Oh no! the popo!!! i cant do another nickle!! i like the musics anchors why do you hate arabs this guy shows a complete misunderstanding of what he was listening to, wether or not he liked it or not he categorized it in the wrong genre of music with bands like the faint.. this band is nothing like the faint, more of a disco/noise punk like the band numbers. Bu..but, Buddyhead makes fun of P.O.D., how can they make a bad decision?! This shit is pretty rad |
