I apologize for the lack of words. I don't want to bore you with a description because you already know what Ramones-core sounds like. But here's the basics on the Hollywood Blondes' 15 Minutes of Lame EP: it's fast, snotty, catchy, fun, and most importantly, it's done very well. It's 15 minutes of some of the best pop-punk of this year. And if you want a better idea of what it sounds like, go to their MySpace page and listen for yourself!

If you haven't heard/seen these guys play then your missing out. They're a great band on CD as well as live. You all will be seeing them on a larger scale soon enough.

"I know for a fact that at least one of the Hollywood Blondes posts on here. Seeing as how most people from Cleveland don't even know who these guys are, I'm going to have to assume the great reviews are coming straight from the band."

You know enough about this site to know that one of them posts here, but not enough to notice that little "STAFF" button under GPM's name? This is a staff review, genius.

On top of that, I'm from Chicago, and I know who these guys are (and have since I lived in SE Ohio). And anyone whose read Mitch Clem's blog in the past year knows who they are, too.

I think these guys are great, they've played with some really good bands on many Cleveland area shows: the queers, the methodones, the unlovables, teenage bottlerocket, the steinways, ect, etc. Just because "most people from Cleveland don't even know who these guys are" doesn't mean they're not good or that the band members are the only ones posting good reviews. Hell, most people from Cleveland have never heard of Punknew.org or the Queers or Screeching Weasel. If you're a fan of good fun pop punk, then you might like the Hollywood Blondes, plus they're really nice guys.

the thing that sucks about this band is that once you listen to their shit it gets stuck in your head. maybe that's a good thing.

Sorry I couldn't get that comic done bro, I've got zero time for anything anymore and a convention coming up in less than a month.

Score is for Glasspipemurder putting up with my funnybook drawing ass!
