| Bomb the Music Industry!live in West Babylon2007 live show Review by: Neill_Cawley See others by this writer 'Get Warmer' for download (link) Only registered users can post comments Published on August 14th 2007
After several solid releases, Bomb the Music Industry! have cemented themselves (or himself) as one of my favorite bands. With the success of ASOB already under his belt, Long Island ska-punk veteran Jeff Rosenstock has let his genius show in the solo side project. After seeing Bomb the Music Industry! once already, it was no surprise that they performed exceptionally well, despite the unorthodox setting of a local CD store called Looney Tunes.

i see Neill at a lot of shows ahahaha. Score is for BTMI! and the new Mustard Plug. This is better than the AM! thread. This band truely rules. I know for a fact that you have not been around punknews.org for very long, or else you would get the Neill Cawley joke. I know for a fact that your hero Jeff disapproves of calling people fags. Way to go, creep. Dear the person below me, really not that great. definitely not genius. asob tried to follow whatever they could to break some ground and be successful...never worked. even wrote on their site who they ripped off for each song. some thought it was fun and cute, but it wasn't. go call someone a "fag" for a differing opinion. and the offer of butt sex...seriously, what are you 14 or something and stuck in a time when blink 182 were popular? Dear the person below me, Oh, really? I can quote you as saying he's " a musical genius." Ha. I mean, sure, I have downloaded everything when it's come out since a few months after Album Minus Band and find his songs fairly charming, but a musical genius? What on earth are you talking about?! when i saw them live, they played with a lot of energy and it was a ton of fun. the sound kind of sucked though. there is no where to start with BTMI all albums are free on his website so start with them all they are all great. His last album Goodbye Cool World and Get Warmer are the best. He gets better with each record BTMI with Rick Johnson was awesome. score is for the new mustard plug. i can't think of anything they could have done better on the record. p.s.-this band is pretty cool too. there is no where to start with BTMI all albums are free on his website so start with them all they are all great. His last album Goodbye Cool World and Get Warmer are the best. He gets better with each record Start with To Leave Or Die In Long Island, but Get Warmer is a close second. "im starting to get interested in this band...where do i start?" we need more Neill Cawley reviews! im starting to get interested in this band...where do i start? This set was only all new songs because it was a record release show/in-store performance. aww man! that sounds so fun, there myspace says they want to play here in canada but need help and i spent a good 30 minutes naming venues and the emails that can be contacted for the band but they never replied. Saw them Friday for the first time. Great show but man, kids flock to Jeff after the show like he's Jesus. I hope that doesn't wear on the guy. Best review ever to appear on Punknews. well done Neill Even I don't believe it. ho. |
