Henry Rollins once stated that he religiously listens to Slayer because it seems as if the band has been frozen in time between albums, therefore keeping their consistently heavy sound. He continues to say that Slayer does not progress (meaning suck) and continues to bludgeon listeners album after album. While From Autumn to Ashes doesn’t necessarily garner such a legendary status, they continue to create ground-stomping music.

its not horrible but its nothing like hot cross or Billy Werner Good review.. but im not a fan... hey "thedude" if you want to know what they sound like, listen to the band thru their website or on amazon...or else ill give the drama to your mama. shitty hardcore isn't that cool anymore guys. this band was soooooooooooo 2002. break up already. Its a pretty decent album. At least they've gone harder when the natural trend for some bands is to soften with age. Score is for reviewing the review in the comments. Who cares? The wordplay of listening to Slayer 'religiously' was pretty entertaining. This album and the first one are good, everything in between not so much. Pfft! Slayer sucks. not so good review. decent album. best effort since TBYB. i'm sorry but this is a terrible review. it tells me nothing of the album other than the drama for your mama history behind making it. give me some info on specifically what some of the songs sound like. i really enjoyed this band's first release (too bad you're beautiful) and have not liked much of their catalog since. will i like this one? i can't really tell after reading this review. I never got the hype, then again, I never remember what these guys sound like. better than i expected. |
