As cliche as it might be you either love the Queers or you hate them.
Which is understandable since Joe Queers openly takes swings at anyone he wants. But, I personally love them and was extremely happy to see the release of this live disc.

To give a little background, I used to own every Queers disc. From the classic A Day Late And A Dollar Short to the not so classic Beyond The Valley... However, as you might notice I said "used to." It seems that jocks think its fun to break into punks cars and steal their entire CD collection... that's over 100 CD's stolen. So, needless to say I am slowly trying to rebuild my 6 year CD collection, and it is a slow process since I'm piss poor. But, alas The Queers have come to the rescue. They managed to fit 31 blockbuster tunes on this nifty disc that clocks in under an hour. And, in case you can't read between the lines, I successfully replaced my 10 (or so) Queers CD's with this action packed release. This isn't as much a live CD as it is a greatest hits masterpiece.

"But it's a live CD, doesn't the quality suck?"
No, first off it's punk, secondly the quality on this live CD is probably better than some of their earlier releases. So, if your bitching about quality you have no right listening to the Queers, pick up a Blink 182 CD (I'm sure they spent about a million dollars recording it).

To give you all an idea of how break neck a show this was, the Queers didn't take a breathe until song 17, when they finally stopped to thank the opening bands. That is 17 songs with out tunning, whinning, drinking, or doing other rock star antics.. if nothing else that should gain some respect. Basically, if you never heard the Queers but want a good sampling of what they sound like buy this CD, it has everything!

First off The Queers are one of the best fucking bands out there today. This Cd rips shit up. Before getting this I usually shied away from live CDs cuz I never saw the point in getting a CD with songs I already have, but after this I stand corrected. The recording quality of this is really good too. I just hope they get their asses up to Seattle soon.

    Rory-
    WHAT?!?!
How did you bring the River City Rebels into this debate? How does a group of 20 year old guys relate to 14 year old girls? You can draw a diagram if you need to, just let me know how they are related, thank you-

    To Eddie,

I have had a lot of experience in fucking 14 year olds and getting blowjobs from twelve year olds,(I'm good friends with the river city rebels) and I'd have to disagree with your comment. Even though everyone knows that the river city rebels are almost as bad as hot water music, they aren't bad in other areas. I'd actually say that they're very talented at the activities that you mentioned. Ecspesially for seventh graders, but thats just my opinion.

"THIS CD SOUNDS LIKE IT WAS RECORDED FROM INSIDE MY ASS"

then maybe you should try wiping your ass and it'll sound better.

    OedipusWrecks (November 11, 2001)

To the guy with the sick as hell comment- I disagree. I don't think a blowjob from a twelve year old would be better than fucking a fourteen year old. See, when you fuck fourteen year olds, you have more control over what's going on, where with the blowjob, that twelve year old has a lot of responsibility to get you off, and he/she probably doesn't have too much blowjob experience, so the blowjob would probably be pretty sloppy and just in general not good. Fucking the fourteen year old would be better.

    -Eddie W.

P.S. The Queers can blow me.
P.P.S. But not if they're twelve.

This cd sounds like it was recorded from inside my ass

    ColdJuly (November 10, 2001)

    Your one sick fuck.

    Anonymous (November 9, 2001)

hey, theres only one thing better than fucking a 14 year old, and thats a blow job from a 12 year old

    Anonymous (November 9, 2001)

I agree that they don't sound exactly like the Ramones. the queers, to me, have a bigger beach boy sound than anyone else. i still love em, even though it's been a while since i listened to them.Queers,Vandals,MTX,Smugglers, and AJB was my first show ever, so they'll always have a little place in my heart. i promised myself i wouldn't cry.- fathead

"Damn the Queers need to stop ripping off of the Ramones."
Obviously the people that think this have never heard either the Queers or the Ramones. Sure the Queers play three chords and have catchy lyrics and hooks up the wazoo but what punk band doesn't? Jesus Christ!
But, to me that is where the similarities end. I truly do not understand how the Ramones (relatively slower with more rock n' roll) are similar to the Queers (fast sometimes surf punk rock). Maybe this old battered punk has gone deaf and can't hear the difference so let me know if I'm wrong.
p.s. I am not denying that there are influences with the Ramones. But every band has some kind of influence

    WinstonFeatherby (November 9, 2001)

The queers blow. I bet if they quit fucking 14 year olds for ONE MUNITE they could muster up the creativity to think of their own damn songs, and quit ripping off the same RAMONES song in ever song. Metal is where it's at.

They aren't horrbile, but then again they aren't great. Just a good punk band. One thing that does bother me though is that it seems like it's mostly Queers by association. I mean come on is thier any one founding member that is still in the band other than Joe Queer. NOPE, and shit is Joe Queer even around anymore. If you like The Ramones, Screeching Weasle, Teen Idols, or any of that three chord fast punk get this you'll be happy

    ColdJuly (November 8, 2001)

The queers suck. Just bland untalented pop-punk.
