Let's get one thing out of the way: Anyone looking for the direct followup to Marriage will not find it on The Curve of the Earth. This album feels more like a creative tangent focusing on the “folk” aspects of Attack in Black, rather than the punk, and they pull it off admirably.

I really want to hear this. I wish the vinyl wasn't so damn expensive. I'll try to find on itunes. I'm stoked I actually threw down the near $25 for this. I'm looking forward to this showing up at my door. For anyone considering picking this up, the download which comes with the vinyl edition are 192kbps MP3s and sound surprisingly good for a mid range MP3. I would have preferred to see 320kbps VBR or FLAC, but the lack of DRM more than makes up for that :) i miss their punkier stuff :( so awesome. this band can do no wrong. Yeah, this is good. It's not even close to Marriage, but it wasn't intended as a true follow-up. The band just sort of recorded it for fun. I dig most of it. Marriage is absolutely incredible though. I really liked this album and it was pretty cool that it came with a free download of it too when you ordered the vinyl. I'd suggest picking this one up while you can, the pressing on wax is limited. | Features
