In 2005, Dead Meadow released Feathers. That album consisted of 10 tracks that sounded like riffed up versions of Black Sabbath's "Planet Caravan." And I thought it was pretty great. About an hour's worth of chillaxin' in the groove. But, seriously, that can get old.

what's wrong with the Ramones? mcnulty's kids are stoked. Feathers was awesome. Lots of Lovecraftian elements in that album. This band is fucking amazing. I listened to this and just couldn't get into it. It's interesting though. I'm not really a fan of this kind of music at all, but lately I'll listen to anything just once to see if I can find something I'll dig. I can definitely see why some would say this is an excellent record though. | Features
