Scream Hello's 2006 EP, The Infinite Son, was a promising enough release that displayed proficient chops in the obvious vein of Braid. With their Smart & Stupid EP, Scream Hello have dropped the exclamation point and stepped up their game considerably.

A Few Minutes is infectiously poppy. I love it! god this band has gotten SO MUCH BETTER in the last year or so. the infinite son was cool but not great. this ep, however, is quite solid. "RRRRRRRRRRRRR" is the only semi-dud...the other three songs are great, especially the first and last tracks. big time texas in the reason / braid thing going on here, which is always good news. Liked their stuff on the Red Leader sampler they sent me (which is suprisingly stacked), will have to check this out. did you say Braid? sexy. Great band. Superb EP! | Features
