As glowing as the reviews were for Damiera's debut, M(US)IC, no one could deny how one-sided the record was. Dameira's focus was narrowed to noodly, three-minute math rock stomps with a high-pitched vocal wail and little else for the ten tracks that made up the album.

gonna have to disagree with most of you, I really enjoyed this release, at least what little I have heard. Will change score if it sucks after I finish it though. Too bad they broke up again. You'll be hearing about it soon. This album came and left my hard drive in about 2 days. Not that it's a bad album, there is just nothing that screams "listen to me". Very creative, but ultimately no focus Yeah, I completely agree with the Maroon 5 comparison. Too bad because I didn't mind their last disc. this album really disappointed me, they sound like maroon 5, has some cool catchy parts but as a whole was a big letdown I really like this band, but I had no idea this was even out. Looks like I'll be picking it up shortly. is EVR still releasing good music ? I quit following this label's releases ... I picked up one of the free releases of this because i used to be into Damiera. I was kinda bummed though. It just sounds like they are trying too hard. Score is for the review though. Well done Brian. | Features
