LafcadioKibosh (2008)Joyful Noise Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Jelone (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on July 18th 2008
I want to be friends with the dudes in Lafcadio. If their record Kibosh is any indication, they’re neat-o duders. The album design is set up like a summer fashion catalog, and I’m all about metal guys with awkward facial hair and pastels. Kibosh’s song titles (“If Someone Asks You If You Are a God, You Say Yes,” “Don’t Make Me Fight You, Old Man”) hint at a good sense of humor and sexxxcellent music taste. And hey, the tuneskis aren’t too bad either.

shit... my bad. i did actually look that up on dictionary.com cause it looked pretty weird to me, but my eyes are all fucked from the air conditioner and i totally missed that definition. i admit to my asshole-ness on that one. but your writing style is still annoying. es·chew (s-ch) oh and i think you also meant either skewing, or askew (which you'd have to change the entire sentence around for), as "eschewing" isn't a word in the english language. (and 'askewing' isn't even a word) i'd have to agree with elephantdwarf on this one. your writing style makes me want to vomit. "Proggy wankery" should be used more in music reviews. | Features
