So many thoughts come to mind when I think of this California-based pop-punk group. This Time Next Year is a band that not only captured my ear, but also my heart when their demo recording landed in my mailbox. I was so infatuated with their sound that I literally put my money where my mouth was when I released A Place for You last year - an album that will forever be cherished for reasons too many to count.

Yeah seriously the production on this is too fucking grating. Just listen to the full-length. Ironically, this CD was only good for short car rides such as the commute to work because it's short. I dislike the production on this (seriously, your vocals don't need THAT much layering and reverb), but in the end, I end up listening to it more than the full-length (has two of my favorite songs off it, plus the acoustic "Sweetest Air"). But yeah, this band's alright, they put on a fun show when I saw them, and have plenty catchy tunes Just checked out their MySpace. Fucking terrible. How could you like Kid Dynamite yet write such terrible songs? Catchy pop tunes and lots of energy. I thought these guys would be signed by some label by now! Better than the same old blase and boring music out there. scores for maple butter blondie from applebee's | Features
