Fifty years ago, rock 'n' roll was personified by Chuck Berry. By Jerry Lee Lewis. By Bill Haley and the Comets. Back around the time of the genre's inception, everything was fresh and exciting -- those rhythms were the soundtrack to the lives of many back then. I thought this album floundered on 1 or 2 songs, but overall it's still a really good heavy rock album. Why did Rye Coalition have to change from this kind of sound? Man, Curses sucked so much balls. I enjoyed this record. It's not gonna save rock n roll, but it's a good listen. reminds me of a heavier mc5. and yes, today's music really f'n sucks. This wasn't already reviewed? The new one came out a few weeks ago. Maybe I'll review that one.... Awesome album. I feel meh about this record/band. They are good live. But I don't know. This wasn't already reviewed? The new one came out a few weeks ago. Maybe I'll review that one.... someone finally reviewed this! i love this band and this EP is classic. | Features
