Pinhead Gunpowder made quite a splash when they played a few shows earlier this year. Aaron Cometbus's name sadly did not dominate the headlines, given Green Day's resurgence in the past few years. The band asked Recess to put out three new tracks on vinyl and the goods are just as good as you'd expect.

RyanG: Yeah, there was the "Compulsive Disclosure" singles collection from Lookout. needs more cowbell. Actually, W. Fink (that would be William Fink a.k.a. Billie Joe) wrote the lyrics for Anniversary Song, not On the Ave. this rules I have this coming from No Idea and I can't fucking wait. agreed, this is sweet Holy shit! I didn't realize it had been 8 years. Weren't there a few 7"s since Shoot the Moon (Buffalo, Landlords)? Wasn't Shoot the Moon less than 8 years ago? Either way, it's still a fucking awesome ep, and I'm not looking up the answers to my questions. Instant classic. The day this package came I must have listened to it eight times while making my dinner. This is a great little release. It's really just called "7"" brian, I swear! |
