Dance Gavin Dance are back with a new album and new members. Gone are Jonny Craig and Sean O'Sullivan. Kurt Travis and Zac Garren now handle vocals and guitars, respectively. Also along for the ride on a few tracks are a slew of guest artists including members of the Deftones and Gatsbys American Dream.

one of the best most unique new bands def worth a listen great live show funny personalties great sense of realness and humor. and btw actually got talent Z-A-C does not spell Zac. Score is for anyone actually named Gavin. this album would've been good..but it feels like their song writing was lacking and then the songs on there i could've done without. i agree with the old screamer's vocals. yeah, anything guttural, or something more powerful for this band wouldn't make it better but dude is just bad with his flow and timing. his writing just didn't work and hopefully since he's gone the next record will sound better. kurt travis did a good job in my opinion, even though i'm kinda biased towards him since i use to be really into his old band fiveminuteride. this band is alright. i'd like to see them live if it weren't for the crowd i know would dominate there. the screaming is good man, who the fuck likes guttural shit in this style of music? that shit lacks emotion. For all the shitty, overrated "nu-screamo" bands out there or whatever you wanna call it, this band is a lot more talented, and tolerable, than most. Decent album, good review. really enjoyed this album. score is for the death star Reviewer didn't mention how ridiculously proggy their guitarists have gotten. |
