When I think of a band with a gigantic sound, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead immediately come to mind. These guys have been pretty consistent in putting out huge, sweeping epics that never fail to entertain. Nearly all of their releases are solid throughout, but they really came through in 1999 with their second album, Madonna.

Great band and record, although ST&C is my favorite. I do really like Worlds Apart, though, and I have a feeling that the new one won't let us down. I think this album has enough punk to negate any such comments, anyway. Not one bad album. Source Codes and Tags is the best thing they've produced, but this has some really strong moments. "Mistakes and Regrets" is arguably their strongest song that's the second best. so... you're wrong. @elephantdwarf: incorrect, best album is Source Tags & Codes by far. best of their records, for sure. Awesome band. A little late on this review though ha. In addition, I am glad that review praises all of their releases... So Divided and Worlds Apart and very underrated. I agree with this review. And I love this band. I am stoked for the new album. |
