Ian Mackayelive in Ames, IA (2002)Tours Reviewer Rating: User Rating: Contributed by: YellowTrash (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on January 30th 2002
After a violin recital, I dashed out of the church into my car and rushed out of Des Moines, Iowa and drove alittle over 40 miles into Ames, Iowa to see Ian Mackaye. Although I left Des Moines at the same times he started his speech, I only missed 45 minutes of the 3 hour discussion he held. I wish I could have gone to this. I wish there was an option for not putting a score, I guess halfway will be good, since I have no fucking clue how to rate this. I didn't go to this. Well I think it's cool that you reviewed something that isn't an album. I'd be very interested in hearing this if you can get some audio or video YellowTrash. If you do e-mail me at seek@pogmania.com. Well I'm trying to see if I can get ahold a video or audio recording of it. I'll post it here if I do. Then stick in a more varied and topical review as a comment on this one, come on, this is potentially the most interesting event to be reviewed here... Yeah. My review was pretty shitty. Then again, I didn't expect them to post this. Yeah. Please tell more. People like me will never get a chance to see him speak. ok, so you saw him speak, and covered many seemingly interesting topics. What did he say?? shit, i was going to go to that, but i had a test the next day, and i didnt want to drive 3 hours from the quad cities, wish i had now. |
