Like it or not, punk rock (and likely music in general) is primarily a boy's club. It can often be heard that many fans "don't enjoy female vocals" or "don't like girl bands." Those that do make it seem to be identified solely by their gender, either being pigeonholed as the angry girl band or (worse yet) being dolled up and sold as sex with a side of music. However, there have been a few acts who have stood up and made punk, and sometimes even music in general, question its own preconceptions and reevaluate its own boy's club policies. The Two Funerals appear to be seeking to carry this torch for a new age of music fans.

one of my favourite bands playing music, period. three awesome girls playing great music. Grey Skies was my favorite track I heard. The other stuff is growing on me. My favorite song is "grey skies" haha. But all of their stuff is top notch. I love her lyrics and vocals style. I've seen their name on a lot of flyers and stuff but have never checked them out. I'm def ganna be seeing them sometime in RVA soon. It's not your fault, Dante. My reading comprehension falls terribly after I've pounded a sixer of High Life in less than 8 minutes. After reading the review I was led to believe they were the female Off With Their Heads, sans lyrical content. They're probably better live than recorded. I love this ep so very much I'm listening to the stuff they have on the page, and I'm not terribly impressed.
