I bought Clarity when I was 17-years-old at Newbury Comics in Harvard Square. It's strangely fitting to see this tour, now nearly 10 years later, in Boston.

Damn I think this is or already came to DC. Who am I kidding I cant pay more than 5 bucks for any show. Broke dick. This show was actually fantastic. Opening band was pretty solid.. Death Cab-esque with better vocals. For those of you Boston residents wondering about the House of Blues, it is basically the same exact dimensions as the old Avalon, with the exception of the 2nd "VIP" balcony and the adjacent restaurant/lounge (this is what happened to Axis). The sound system, as expected, is phenomenal. This complimented J.E.W.'s Clarity sound perfectly as no stone was left unturned. The best sounding live show I've ever seen. Really. Probably something that should have been mentioned in this review. Good times. So fellow Boston residents who see the pretty awesome string of shows announced at the HOB, fear not. Jim Belushi will not be there to cash in on his dead brother. But it'll sound 100x better than the Wilbur Theater and the Middle East Downstairs combined. "totally regretting not getting a ticket before it sold out. i can only imagine how amazing it must've been" did they use any strings on just watch the fireworks? wow colin you don't sound like a tool in this They cut down 'Goodbye Sky Harbor' to 7 minutes live which I think was great. They played every part of it at the end, just not as many times as they do on the record. Good lord, I can't emphasise enough how much it pains me that I don't live in the US, or I'd have gone to see this tour without a second's hesitation. As it is, I still really regret not going, Transatlantic flight or no. A full, live version of Goodbye Sky Harbor? I'd have to pack extra tissues to mop up all the jizz in my pants. totally regretting not getting a ticket before it sold out. i can only imagine how amazing it must've been. did they use any strings on just watch the fireworks? Don't try to rip on Boston you goon I'm going to the Chicago show tonight. I can't wait to see how they pull off Goodbye Sky Harbor. So stoked! some of the grammar on here is pretty bad. i apologize for that, i was pretty drunk / in the whole 'post show haze' when i wrote it. regardless i think you get the idea. Score is for not buying a ticket to this like I should have :(. | Features
