Visitor's Band is the first real solo record from Jon Snodgrass, and it's about what one would expect from Snodgrass -- a near 50/50 mix of Armchair Martian-esque rock and Drag the River-centric country -- though in this case, predictability and enjoyability are not mutually exclusive.

Great album and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Top notch! i like it but wish he'd started a band for these songs. i'm not comfortable with my sexuality enough yet to be a fan of a dude. yet again, easy makes it clear of his level of intelligence. Score is for laughing at skinny pussies acting tough on the net, but score is mostly for Snodgrass! i smacked this cunt in the head once cause his music was making me fall asleep Snodgrass has always been one of my favorite songwriters, it makes it weird to get drunk at the same bar as him. I was joking. There was a thread the other day where we were all talking about how nice he is. I've met Jon. He's alright for someone from Colorado. I'm from Colorado. I love Colorado. Score is for Colorado. since when? All I know is he was playing a 21plus show and he was gonna get me and also happens to be great friends with a ton of good people I know Great fucking record. Too bad this dude is such a giant prick. dude from RI (Emerson of Mustache Ride) sings on the song that's by some other guy from RI (local legend Mark Cutler), rad. One of the nicest dudes ever. | Features
