When a band's earlier output gets re-released -- or re-pushed -- after tasting the sweet taste of success (even if that success does not extend far beyond local punk scenes and this website's readership), these earlier tracks are almost always disappointing on your first listen. The songs are noticeably less polished, both in terms of the production value and the performance itself. But it is always interesting to learn just how a band reached the point it is at today, and hearing some new (to you) material is always a bonus. This is the case with Cobra Skulls' Draw Muhammad EP. Though not quite as refined and enjoyable as Sitting Army or the recent Never Be a Machine EP, this is still a very solid collection of songs that fans of the Cobra Skulls ought to have in their collection.

Yet one of you douches likes Crime In Stereo, and the other likes O Pioneers.... I second the guy below me. But Much The Same sucks almost as bad. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why anybody likes this band. They're not even mediocre. They're just bad. This is my favorite Cobra Skulls album. He mentioned rockabilly, no need to mention Misfits vocals. Throatplungers "weapons of ass destruction" has the most offensive album cover ever. nothing can top it. Like this about as much as Sitting Army. Maybe a tinge less. You forgot to mention the MIsfits vocals. i like hasta los cobra skulls more then the version on sitting army, just cause its a little faster, it's probably one of the better songs on the ep That cover art is going to start a war! whaaaaaaat? Dan Perrone will eventually be murdered by me.... guaranteed! horrible band |
