Bomb Town!?Interrobang?! (2008)Stubborn Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Manic (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on April 21st 2009
Bomb Town hail from New Jersey and combine elements of dub reggae with a frenzied ska twist that, together with a heap of heavy hardcore breakdowns, makes for one killer record.

i've seen bomb town several times, along with the band they sprang from (hub city stompers, of which i believe jenny whiskey and matt are still members), and i have say, i listened to these tracks, and afterwards was only able to spare a "meh." "The band has set the Jersey town scene ablaze with an infectious onslaught of keys and blaring horns" doesn't really say shit. Just saying. I used real words instead of cliche metaphors and "unclassifiable". I think I had the same experience with the album as the reviewer, though. MeeSTa3k, he basically stated everything you did. Just be happy he gave it a positive review, cause if it was me, it would be much different. This review doesn't really capture the album or the band. They're like the broadest ska-punk band I've heard, going from dub and dancehall through ska to hardcore punk. Often in the same song, and often very naturally. The production from King Django ensures that the album sounds full and expansive, and the guest vocalists bring even more variety to an already diverse collection of tracks. Listen to the myspace for a taste. sounds interesting Horrible artwork. | Features
