i wasn't sure what to expect when i bought this cd at their show. i had heard their demo before but they had changed a lot since then. More mature, evolved if you will. When i first took a listen I knew this was an amazing cd, but it took me a few more listens to really realize how good this is. My first thought about the ep was how original it was. Really melodic emoish music, with technical riffs throughout and a truly distintive voice for this genre.

the first song brings right in , wasting no time for long intro's and such. It's a really good song but not my favorite.the great thing about this band is that they write music with totally unexpected riffs and breakdowns and they do so well and still making it catchy. The second song is my favorite song of the ep.These are such good writers! The third song is also really good. You can download on their website catchingfire.tripod.com if you want to check them out. The fourth song is also one of my favorites, faster and more upbeat. The last song finishes the album off a little slower and heavier than the others. Overall this 16min. ep is one the most impressive releases that i have heard this year and these are only 18! i strongly suggest you go check out their website.

Nice clean sound, yet rough and DIRTY!

bad review, amazing band

this review was awful, how about mentioning something that separates these guys from the thousands of other hardcore/punk/whatever bands out there.
