How Do We Jump This High? How Do We Jump This High?: Deep StationaryDeep Stationary (2009)self-released Reviewer Rating: 3.5 Contributed by: SloaneDaleySloaneDaley (others by this writer | submit your own) It is hard to judge a band based on a demo alone but it still gives you a taste and that is all it took for me to get up and notice Get Bent. While I enjoyed their demo I did find their brand of post-hardcore/pop-punk to be kind of derivative of Long Islanders Latterman. That's where How Do We Jump .
It is hard to judge a band based on a demo alone but it still gives you a taste and that is all it took for me to get up and notice Get Bent. While I enjoyed their demo I did find their brand of post-hardcore/pop-punk to be kind of derivative of Long Islanders Latterman. That's where How Do We Jump This High? comes in. They formed out of the tissue boxes and blister packs left in the wake of Get Bent's passing, see (note: the band also contains most of the members of Frame, who are kind of a good-connotation "emo" band). Yes, there are some holdovers from that previous band's angle, but Deep Stationary shows that HDWJTH? is a largely different beast.

does anyone know if Frame has done anything other than their split 7" with Lemuria? I love that thing. It is This High did I really write that mistake for a whole review when it is correctlt displayed in my Itunes? yes yes I did. isnt Get Bent back together now? the album cover says how do we jump THIS high. soooo good. four day weekend is the best song on there. Fucking love this release. I loved Get Bent, and was sad to see them go, but in my opinion this picks up right where they left off, and it seriously sounds to me that it's the direction they would have gone if they stayed together. I think this is the best you can get with demo. |

Frame did another split, with Karate For Kids.
