You guys think you are punk rockers? Try staying out all day while drops of water as big as your fist are pouring down from the sky, in the same damn wet clothes, just to listen to five or six awesome bands among a whole lot of shitty ones. Those who pussy out are so kicked out of punk. And a lot actually pussied out when that scenario happened last Saturday at the Vans Warped Tour in Montreal. But the true warriors stayed and had the time of their lives. Fat Mike said it more eloquently than I ever could: “French-Canadians are crazy.”

Awesome fucking day, seriously the best Warped I've ever been to. That was the best warped tour ever. The rain made this day so special. There were less people, so the shows under the rain were more intimate. Like P.O.S. who play right in the middle of the 40 people crowd who were there for him. Big d in the mud was also pretty funny. But the best set of the day was without a single doubt Gallows. For those who think that they are sell out who only care about the money, you couldnt be more wrong. I never saw a band as intense as them in my whole life, well i think. The singer spent half the set with us in the pit and gave the mic to everybody who knew the words. NOFX was really funny and not so messy, wich is surprising. Westbound Train were also great and so was Shad. The Akas said some stupid homophobic joke (they repeated 3 times ''there is no song on our new record about dudes breaking out with other dudes'') and also were borderline racist. All in all, best warped tour ever, thanks to the rain and Gallows. @facetofacereunion08: The score is for the fun I had during the day, I didn't watch every single band. All the good bands I wanted to watch were playing one after another at the end of the day, so I didn't watch many bad bands. I'm stoked that a review of this got put, cuz that was seriously the most fucked up warped I've been to, it was like the fucking great deluge. My buddies were all turning shades of blue waliking through huge puddles shivering, with no good bands on. Sean from Big D and the Kids Table was the guy playing guitar for Streetlight yesterday racism? hilarious! "My friend didn't like them, but so what? Fuck him. Bad Religion is a classic and no one can touch them. " Les Champs-Élysées is a cover... doesnt sound like your description really fit the score...seems like you liked nofx, bad religion, flogging molly....and the rest was just ok | Features
