The formula for a decent tribute album isn’t incredibly complex -- pick a good band for paying tribute and get more really good bands to do (ideally) original takes on those songs.

"up and at them!" I just watched those Green day videos on youtube. I still remember watching that when i was in 6th grade. agree with eazyd2 wow you should at least be moderately good band to have a tribute album. fuckin gay Woops, not that low. One of my favorite artists of all time, and this is a decent tribute. I laughed heartily at Atom's appearance. I enjoyed the Zolof and mc chris covers the most I think. someone needs to tell the band "golden bloom" that the song lying to you is a Radon song Atom is one of my all-time favorite artists. I'll have to give this a listen. Holy shit I posted in the wrong review. Does anyone remember the Green Day live in Chicago thing MTV aired in like '94 or 5? It was between Dookie and Insomniac...a whole hour of the best material and Billie Joe acting completely deranged. I videotaped and watched the shit out of it. Alas, if only someone had written a review of the Love and Rockets tribute for a hat trick. The most seriously underrated artist of all-time. Dude is a genius. Up and at them! | Features
