The Generators come out of Los Angeles, and are one of the best bands doing the 77/anthem punk out there. They are reminiscent of The Angelic Upstarts, Stiff Little Fingers, and sometimes The Jam. I saw them live at Holidays In The Sun last year, and they were brilliant live as well. State Of The Nation is more aggressive than last years album Tyranny, it's probably more how they are live. This record is as great as their last one. Highly recommended for a night out knocking down a few pints, and pogo dancing.
