The Hope Conspiracy is a rare thing in hardcore: a band that has lasted through years and multiple releases, but also has managed to stay relevant with only subtle changes in style. After being a big name in the early `00s hardcore scene, they took a rumor-filled hiatus through the mid-`00s and returned with their solid reformation 2006 full-length, Death Knows Your Name. With members spread throughout the country and only playing a handful of shows a year, the band manages to stay somewhat active with this new 7” EP.

Rules. I love these guys to death. This rocks so fucking hard. I actually like all 3 of these songs better than anything on DKYN, except "Animal Farm" because that song owns. Not that this band has ever put out anything bad. i didn't even know they had new stuff coming out. gotta get this. haha, i submitted a review for this a while ago. i guess it didnt get published because i used to phrase "knock your dick in the dirt" way too much. you can't turn to volume up on "the dismal tide" loud enough This is a really solid record. Used to love these guys. Will check this out no doubt. | Features
