As a result of my group taking a food break, we missed most of the Kobanes set. I'm not sure if that was a good thing or not. Their music was catchy pop-punk and good to listen to. However, there was a movie that was playing in the background and it was incredibly off-putting in its disturbing content. Every time I looked up there were either people banging or an awful-looking fat man eating on the toilet and taking a shit. I thought it was unbelievably distracting because I can hardly remember their set.

By the way, great show to make for a great Halloween. fresnoska, apparently you haven't heard. PBR runs the Reggie's joint, not that Bud shit. Can't argue with free beer In my defense, that beer was free. I figured after 6 years it was time for something new. I was tired of being reminded of high school, so I finally changed it the other day. theonetruebill, you can't be gung-ho USA and drink an import beer. Where's your budweiser?! Wait, you have two user names? I always feel like the odd man out at TBR shows, as I cannot get into their old stuff, but really like the new album, so I get really psyched when they play new stuff. I just don't understand how anyone could give a shit about a song like "Radio" but not care about "Forbidden Planet". You were the one who called me a fraud. Yes, I remember you. I'd never actually heard a Cobra Skulls song before this show so I was pretty impressed. TBR were great as always but it funny how the crowd reaction fell so much when they played songs from the new album. All the locals dropped the ball in my opinion though. the Scissors are pretty fucking good. Sad to have missed this show. score is for the new album. good stuff. forbidden planet rules |
