Nine ElevenCity of Quartz [12 inch] (2009)Europe Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: GlassPipeMurder (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on November 27th 2009
Obnoxiously attention-whoring name aside (claimed to be chiefly referencing the 1973 C.I.A. overthrow in Chile), Nine Eleven’s City of Quartz is one of the year’s best new-school hardcore full-lengths.

Well, this album fucking rules. Surprise last-minute addition to my '09 top 10. Good thing I read this damn review. What's really impressive is how far they've come from 2007's Use Your Disillusion, which is nowhere near as good. Based on the review and the songs on their myspace, I'm liking what I see/hear. I am definitely going to do some research on this band. this was my favourite puncanoes comment yet This band sounds cool in theory, but WTF do a bunch of french kids know about rednecks and white trash? And their name kind of makes me want to kick them in their collective balls i should check these guys out. rudy giuliani raves about them nonstop. | Features
