what is this shit with knowing about earlier albums? maybe people on this site don't understand the concept of a review. albums are meant to be reviewed on their own, not reviewed in comparison to past albums. also being objective is a good thing, which is why people on here shouldn't even bother posting reviews

    kirbypuckett (April 14, 2002)

What the fuck was that? Original yes. However, just the way it was done sucked. It could have been better if the author actually wrote decent things that didn't sound like my Christmas list from 3rd grade. Also maybe talking about the music. The graphic is ugly as hell, and the colors make me sick. Ugh, I like that Calvin and Hobbs review, someone do one like that w/ Spider Man, haha.

    evildeadalive (April 14, 2002)

It's definately not better than Big Choice though. I still say Don't Turn Away is their best, and the album I would recommend to anyone (Scott) who had never really heard Face to Face before.

    Anonymous (April 14, 2002)

    that review's right on

    -frank stallone

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

    Ok,

You want a real fucking review (unlike Scotts misinformed bullshit or this guys fawning?).....ok....here it is.

This is a really good punk rock album. Anyone who says otherwise is just pre disposed to hate everything this band puts out.

Its getting really good reviews everywhere ive read (except scotts) not because its a return to form (which to a certain extent it is) but because its just a solid, excellent album

There are a ton of anthemic songs, that will instantly sound like face to face but with a tip of the hat to early 1977 Brit punk feel that they havent had on previous records. The songs jump out with huge choruses and classic raw guitar lines (think Rancid's Lets Go album, or DTA in terms of overall production). There isnt a bad song on the album and there are AT LEAST four or five that rank up there with the bands all time best.

For those of you who are actually familiar with face to face's previous output (unlike scott) Here is a comparison....

This is probably tied with S/T in the sonwriting category with a much more live/raw production. Sonically akin to DTA. Better than Big Choice in every category. Better overall than Reactionary because it is feels more genuine, passionate and heartfelt. It fruitless to compare it to Ignorance is Bliss which was of course, just a different record all together---this record will not polarize their fans the way that did.

Ok, buy it or dont...who cares.

    maverick (April 13, 2002)

This score is to the guy who posted 2 comments down. Andrew W.K. kicks ass. He's on SNL tonight, bomb.

And this album still is mediocre.

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

haha, atleast this reviewer had some sort of knowledge and insight about f2f's old releases......scott sucks

    i want to say
that the albums is much more mature than the others one ecept for ''ignorance is a bliss''
but i want more music like
face to face s/t like big choice
    and reactionary

and if this albums have 3 o 4 song that sound like this 3 awesome records that i write above is too much

    fakesmile (April 13, 2002)

i don't know how the album sounds... but this review rocks

    Josip (April 13, 2002)

i thought it was funny, take it easy...

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

a review worse than scotts???? Holy shit

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

    cant say it better

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

everyone crapped on scott's review but i think its safe to say that this one is 100% worse. He gave 100% opinion not backed up by any reasons. This review sucks.

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

Not only is this about the worst review you guys have ever posted, he actually thinks it's a good album. Is anyone actually looking at these before they got posted? Honestly...

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

this album is pretty shitty, but this review is worse....

    Anonymous (April 13, 2002)

    Ok
