Luckie Strike is one of those bands that are not sure what it wants to play. They seem to be an emo/poppy punk band that can play hardcore if they wanted to, but don’t. The sticker on the front of it described it as an emo band with hardcore tendencies. "Well, great" I thought when I saw this, it will probably be like Thursday, or maybe a watered down Thrice. Well no, it is not close to neither of those bands, nor is it as good as those bands. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
No, she doesnt. She just didnt think that being in a band was much fun anymore. They all thought that actually. I only got to see them live once and they opened for the mad caddies. Have you checked out their mp3.com page? ouch, thats really funny that your friends with the band and still think they suck. Do you know if mel has anymore projects going on beacause i would like to hear more from her. HAHA, the sad thing is I am friends with Mel (the singer) and I think the exact same thing about the band. They broke up about 6 months ago though. Theyre from here in Sacramento. They do a great live show though. Arrrgggh. That was really hard to read. Double negatives? What? A firm grasp on the english language? Not really. Am I using sentance fragments? Sure. Blecch. |
