hey, i was just wondering if anybody else noticed, but.... Huey, To WhenDovesCry... "Emo" bands that try to prove their talent by playing Kid A inspired music bore me. Power of Failing was good. Everything THey did after that has been plain fucking boring. Self indulgent, pseudo poetic, whining bullshit. I don't know how credible this "Huey" character is. This album is fucking fantastic. I have not taken it out of my cd player since the day it came out. Does anyone else notice all The Cure influences? Please...do yourself a favor...go buy this album. This is review is great. You can tell that there was a lot of knowledge put into this review. You obviously have been a fan of these guys for sometime now, which, in turn, shows why you were so excited to hear a new album from them. Woah, these comments are fucked up If you don't know, i'm a huge moron with no redeeming qualities. Someone please take my life and rid humanity of the wasteful existence that is my life. -oldpunker- Still posting anonymous? Your quite tough-oldpunker-oh and what is this 5th grade, grow up, your taking up space for a really great cd. the funny part about this review is the fact that it's solid and full of praise, and yet still can't capture absolutely everything that's amazing about the album. this is truly a landmark release from tgr, and definitely the best disc so far of 2002 (eat it, vagrant), but it's so hard to put into words the emotions it brings up. true beauty from start to finish. an absolutely flawless performance. Just one more thing, you can also find this review on my shitty zine at: I wrote that review at around 11 or 12 last night, so if there are any errors, that is why. No, I wasn't drunk... This review just makes me want to go out and get this thing right now, great job, i need to leave now and go to the record store-oldpunker- Yeah, that was a pretty damn good review. I'll be sure to check these guys out. I'm *really* excited to hear this album now. Great review. |
