Swingin' UttersSwingin' Utters: Brand New Lungs [7-inch]Brand New Lungs [7-inch] (2010)Fat Wreck Chords Reviewer Rating: 3.5 User Rating: Contributed by: GlassPipeMurderGlassPipeMurder (others by this writer | submit your own) The Swingin' Utters are back on the attack with their first new studio material since 2003's Dead Flowers, Bottles, Bluegrass, and Bones. It may be coming a little late, and it may not be the full-length I was promised (LP is due out this fall), but it's yet another great addition to the already ove.

I bought this and was pleased. The back of this says that track 1 and 2 will be on the full length and track 3 is the bonus track...seems like they picked right because track three isn't very good. Great stuff, I can't wait for the full length. I like these songs better than the last couple of records. Forward to Fun is actually my favorite. I need this real bad. I can't wait to see this band again. Highly anticipatory Great review! 'Lepers, Thieves and Whores' is indeed the best track. The back of the new Razorcake has a Fat advertisement saying "Here Under Protest" is out July 6 but we all know happened last time we trusted Fat ads with release dates in zines. For sure, it's been way too long since the last Utters full length. Anyone else think this has been the best year for punk rock in ages? Cannot wait for their full length to finally hit the streets. Also, planning on making the trip to Minneapolis to see these guys August 23rd at the Triple Rock the night after my b-day. |

I really like all three.
