You know that song you hear on the radio? Or in a supermarket? Or maybe from the neighbours' backyard barbecue while you’re on the toilet? That one that you really love, but never remember the name of? You look everywhere for it, having Shazam ready on your iPhone every time you go out, or to the toilet. I could explain the whole thing, but there’s a Married with Children episode you could watch instead about this phenomenon that explains it much better. Anyway, I discovered Chase Long Beach through a situation just like this. I had no information other than I knew the song had "Oi Oi Oi!" at the beginning. Do you know how many ska punk songs have "Oi Oi Oi!" at the beginning? A fuckton.

My apologies. Awful. Nice review, I think it sums up the band pretty well. Pretty good and fun but definitely not original. Saw them open for the bosstones and they were pretty good. My favorite song is probably the hidden track. Say what you will about the album and their (lack of) originality, but there is no denying these guys put on a hell of a show. Seen them three times already, and I'm willing to travel for a fourth. Crunkcore? Who the fuck is Ke$ha? Having seen these guys as an opener more times than I really wanted to, let me state that, on the level of, say, a local retro garage band who regularly play frat parties and Cousin Jimmy's holiday keggars, Chase Long Beach are actually pretty good. If this review were any longer, it would be a Skibz777 review. this person is probably from California or something, cause there sure as hell aren't any supermarkets playing ska on the east coast. also, i checked them out. they're not very good. never heard of this band. will check it out, even if the band name is stupid. | Features
