In the 1990s I became aware of an album by a Canadian band called Bum. The recommendation was made by Alan Woods, the head honcho of the excellent Alans record/skateboard shop in Wigan who frequently pointed me in the direction of bands peddling melodic punk (he was the guy who gave me a nod in the direction of a young trio called Green Day's first album in 1990) and his choices were often ignored at one's own peril!

This is a great album. So happy to see it reviewed here. It's hard finding anything online about this band. Debbiespeak and At the Well are two of my favorite songs. i've only heard their song with kim warnick off the 13 soda punx comp (which also happened to be the best song on that comp). never heard their name again after that. i'm kinda interested in checking this out. good review. ive never heard of them but will definately check them out |

So let me get this straight: The "new" Dopamines' record was released LAST summer and these punknews punks STILL haven't posted one of the half-dozen submitted reviews? But they found time to post a review of THIS?!?!?! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!
