About Hometownloser:

To sum it up, I simply don't give a fuck. The only thing I care about on this rock is my son Kayden. Other than music, he is my heart, and what some might consider, my soul. I have followed punk rock since 1992, though some may consider this era a point to be a fair-weather fan, I find it a pivotal point in the revolution of alternative music. I never liked Nirvana. Some may find this hard to believe given my age. I first heard the Misfits when I was 8, and have loved them ever since. It did take me some time to get the feel of most punk rock. It wasn't until I heard the first Give 'Em the Boot sampler that I really got to know what punk rock could be. Before that I loved listening to Bad Religion, The Misfits, and the Dead Kennedys. To this day, some 18 years later, I still feel a kind of fellowship with the bands I grew up with. They were there through some of my most troublesome times, and have had the best advice I have ever heard. Though I do have some sort of career, and I don't really have the choice to take a chance, my greatest dream (as similar as it may be to others) is to be in a punk band. Not to be rich, or popular, just to play loud, fast, heart felt music for those that understand to enjoy. Anyone who cared to read all this, THANK YOU. Check out my reviews. Though, given my location, I am excluded from catching many new groups live, I hope to be a harbinger of good tidings of the bands many may find stale. Once again, many thanks. Reviews will be coming soon. -J
