I started playing in punk/hardcore bands in 1994, writing, recording, touring, and helping other bands record/master, and eventually moved on to playing almost exclusively melodic death/thrash metal. I like everything from soft emo to brutal grinding death metal (emo, pop punk, skate punk, hardcore, metalcore, thrash metal, death metal, and even country). I can't stand most hip-hop/rap, or any synthetically composed music. My spectrum is vast, and I have a lot of experience. I look for above average talent, tightness, innovation, energy, melody, and emotion, in music. I am pretty liberal in my political beliefs, support civil liberties, human rights, but am not so overboard as to be whiny and politically correct. I believe in scientific evidence over religious factions, the separation of church and state, and of course, anyone can believe what they want, as long as they don't try to govern others. Have fun.
