About Melyssak:

First, I want to say I have Asperger's syndrome, which has it downsides, but has gifted me with the amazing ability to be able to hear and mentally isolate virtually every instrument, riff, beat, backing vocal track, etc. in the songs I listen to. I can pretty much hear the subtle instrumentals in big songs most people hear as a buzz or don't hear at all. So I get kinda mad when people accuse bands (whatever one I happen to be hearing about, reading about, etc, if the band is one that has such subtleties in their music) of not being creative, or having all their songs sound the same, blah, blah, blah. Iam in college majoring in biology (3.8 GPA)and am planning to be a paleontological reconstruction artist. like anything that has to do with science (faves include paleontology, astronomy, geology, climatology, ecology, biology, psychology, anatomy, chemistry) and have been watching the annual meteor showers since finding out about them in my astronomy class last year. I took two semesters of German last year (my grandfather was from Germany,) and have learned enough to have a basic converstaion with C+ grammar skills for a one year. I think I may know 1,500-2,000 words but I have not actually counted. You'd be surprised how much you can actual say in different conversations with so few words! And, also, Tokio Hotel is my favorite band, though they are not found on this site. I don't care if you hate them; you probably just can't get past the fact that the twins look like chicks. They have been making music since before 2003, they were so young when they won their first award that most bands at comparable ages would barely have a solid line-up, let alone studio albums and chart-topping singles. And if you look up the favorite bands of each member, some are guaranteed to be bands you love. I am an artist and like drawing. I started when I was 4 and am a perfectionist obsessed with details in my art. I have drawn some bands and had them autographed, (Bowling For Soup, the Academy Is..., Taking Back Sunday were actually autographed.) It has been a few years since I seriously played (since starting college,) but I enjoy playing guitar (the Offspring inspired me to learn how to play,) bass is fun,and I dabble in drums butwould need to take lessons to fully coordinate all the drums and cymbals. I also like playing RPG's and reading manga and watching anime in some of my free time. Well, as with any 'about me,' these things are just of facet of the actual me, so don't make any harsh judgements just based on a simple bio. Personality can't be transfered via a few paragraphs. However, I'm fairly sure that barely anyone will actually care enough to read this.
