About Riotactmedia:

Riot ACT: Public Relations & Artist Management *Riot Act Media serves as a boutique marketing firm offering affordable public relation services to the independent music and arts community. Formed in Chicago, IL in 2005 by David Lewis, Riot Act is the world's first truly and staunchly independent public relations firm. The testament to this can be seen through the firm's efforts to offer proactive, scalable, succesful, artist friendly campaigns, which in turn have permanently helped to level the playing field in public relations in the independent music and arts world. In November of 2005 Riot Act relocated to New Haven, CT. Riot Act has created and handled campaigns for such prestigious clients as Pedro The Lion, Minus The Bear, Make Believe, Maritime, Jade Tree Records, Flameshovel Records, and Suicide Squeeze Records. Founder David Lewis (born July 19, 1976) is not only a patron of the arts, but an artist himself. Lewis graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2005 with a BFA in Film Video and New Media and continues to make valuable contributions to the art world in both New Haven and Chicago. Lewis is also an avid amateur video boxer and connoisseur of Mexican breakfasts. Married in 2003, David and wife Pamela are expecting a child in September 2006.
