RX Bandits announced today via a Myspace blog post that saxophone player Steve Borth has left the band:

After two accomplished albums and over the course of four years, Steve Borth will be departing Rx Bandits to pursue his own musical career. We truly wish him the best of luck.

Borth joined the band after the release of Progress, playing on both The Resignation and their upcoming Mash Down Babylon release …And the Battle Begun. Prior to the Bandits he was a member of Bay Area ska-core act Link 80.

Borth's reggae/ska band Satori released their debut Savor Every Moment this past year, which was featured on one of our year-end "Best Of" lists.
