Tom Morello, activist, producer and current Audioslave guitarist recently spoke to Billboard about the potential for a Rage Against the Machine reunion. The band he cofounded with former Inside Out vocalist Rage Against The Machine split up in 2000 and their final release was the posthumous live recording, Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium.

The rumoured performance would take place at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which has been rumoured to be the site of another high profile reunion. While Coachella spokespeople were unavailable for comment, the article suggests that both frontman Zach la Rocha, and his bandmates who play together in Audioslave are "on good terms" and a reunion could happen.
