The organizers of Calgary's Sled Island music festival unveiled their first slate of bands last week. The festival, which will feature over 200 bands at 25 venues across the city, will include performances from Hot Water Music, Melvins, Fucked Up, Built to Spill, Deerhoof, The Thermals, Les Savy Fav, Black Lips, Ted Leo And The Pharmacists, The Bronx / Mariachi El Bronx, The Almighty Defenders, The King Khan and BBQ Show, Mark Sultan, Big Business, Austin Lucas, Greg MacPherson, Chuck Ragan, You Say Party! Sled Island takes place from June 30th to July 3rd in Calgary, Alberta.
