According to (sigh) TMZ, former Queens of the Stone Age and Dwarves bassist Nick Oliveri has been charged with four felonies stemming from a standoff last month with LAPD and SWAT forces. Oliveri was booked on felony domestic violence after surrendering to authorities; the ordeal began as a fight with his girlfriend and morphed into a four-hour standoff. He's now charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one misdemeanor count of resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer.

If convicted of all counts Oliveri could face up to fifteen years in prison.
