A Las Vegas-based band calling themselves Marathon has opted to change their name after finding out about the Reignition Records pop-punk band of the same name which was active from 2002-2006. They've changed their name to Narrowed and said this:

It was not an intentional thing. We missed them when we looked for another band by that name. How, I don't know. We're working on figuring out what we're going to do. I'm sorry if we offended you or any other fans.

As penance, the group is giving away their debut EP, The Valley, which they previously streamed. Find that one on their Bandcamp.
