Bobby Faust (-2014)
by In Memoriam

Actor and model Bobby Faust has passed away. The cause of death was complications following a severe stroke last week. In punk rock circles, Faust was best known as the little person that adorned the cover of many releases by The Dwarves. In addition to being linked with the Dwarves, Faust was in several movies including God is on our Side with David Johansen of the New York Dolls.

Bobby Faust is gone. He was a wise man who didn’t tether his thoughts to only this planet. He was a beautiful soul.

I’ll always remember him trying vainly to keep his enormous white dog ‘Boogie’ in check whenever the doorbell rang. Boogie would smother him in fur and affection and as he screamed,"Boogie! Boogie" I would think about that song that went "Boogie-oogie-oogie ‘til ya just can’t boogie no more."

Bobby was a hero to me, an inspiration in these frightening times, but sadly, he will boogie no more. He’s joined our friend Chris Wetzel and gone wherever the great ones go. I’m going to miss him.
