Skiv: "Sunday Service"

Punknews is excited to premiere a new song and video from UK-based quartet Skiv. "Sunday Service" is the third and final track in the band's Meal Deal Trilogy, which has been released piecemeal since May of last year. Along with the previous digitally released tracks "Wasteman" and "Gumdrop Candy Mountain", the trilogy will be made available on CD and vinyl in the near future. Featuring animation by Sober Dave of The Drunken Ramblings, the song is poppy and melodic in presentation, but tackles the subject of unrealized expectations, both from internal and external sources.

Having already played this year in support of comedic rap group Goldie Lookin Chain and Dublin's Chewing On Tinfoil, Skiv is working up more dates for the coming year. For now, they have three dates booked in support of Eat Dirt's mini-tour in May. You can check out those dates, as well as the new video, below.
