THICK Records has announced that on February 23rd, 2004, they will be releasing Volume One of the now-legendary Out Of Focus video fanzine collection on a handy dandy DVD. The disc will feature Green Day, Jawbreaker, Swingin Utters, Moral Crux, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Queers, Gameface, DOA, Down By Law, Samiam, Sludgeworth, Born Against, Neer Do Wells, Los Crudos and more - over 30 bands in all. Three songs from each band are included, plus interviews, pranks, commentary, scene footage and more.

Out Of Focus was the brainchild of Mike Byrne (from the Methadones) and his brother Bob. They filmed countless shows at Metro, McGregors, and the Fireside Bowl in Chicago through the 1990's. There's no word yet as to when Volume Two will be released on DVD.
