Back in May, Slowdance Records announced the signing of The '89 Cubs. All that was known at the time was the band was a trio from Omaha. Finally, Slowdance has revealed who is in the band: guitarist Ryan Fox of the Good Life, drummer Matt Baum of Desaparecidos and Dan Brennan. The band's debut, There Are Giants In The Earth, will be out via Slowdance in October. You can download a song off the album, "Oh, The Things We Put In Our Head," here.
Fox will be pulling double-duty in September and October, as the Cubs will be touring with the Good Life and Neva Dinova throughout the US and Canada.
