Punkvoter has posted some new columns, most notably an excellent piece by Blake Schwarzenbach of Jawbreaker and Jets to Brazil. You can read his piece "Empires".

Oh, and as much as i love the Lawrence arms, Brendan Kellys column is really stupid. What a great way to pull in voters, by calling people a gaggle of retards. How sophisticated. 9+ Replies

Freinds Back East is such an awesome song.....I remember seeing Jawbreaker opening for The Muffs, and never would have guest at that moment that they would have made such a bigger imapct on the punk community once they were gone.....strange.....very surreal to see so much press and props these days....I guess I'm getting old. What's up with the reunion tour already????? 1+ Reply

I like that alot although i've always thought him to have a way with words. I know he was a writer for a while before he started Jets to BrazIl. Does anyone know if he has anything published? Preferably not poems? 2+ Replies

NICE.... I do hope that jawbreakers gets more people to see the big mistake we call our president. The more bands that rock against bush the better. Be sure and vote. DOWN WITH BUSHFACE

CORDOVA was born on the last hour of the first day of Spring 2004 in the Lehigh Valley district of eastern Pennsylvania by former members of indie rock sweethearts Weston (Universal/Mojo), Tonight We Escape and Imidazole. Their sound whispers the influence of The Pixies, The Beatles, The Cure, Archers of Loaf, Brian Wilson, Phil Spector, The Jealous Sound, Jawbreaker and Death Cab For Cutie, however, it never stops screaming with miscalculated innovation. http://www.cordovamusic.com | Features
