I think your comment about Tim Shaw needs no explanation. He is still their friend because KYI is more popular than Ensign.

Hey, he's right. Though I dispute the bands sucking part, Blackout!'s got shitty management and are almost constantly on the verge of bankruptcy.

Hey, Bill here. I wish to address the "shitty management" comment. Are you an MBA? Maybe you could offer some constructive critisim. But, I imagine you aren't and won't (cuz ya can't.) Hey, I have fucked up over the years. My biggest flaw is really not being businesslike enough. I trust people too much, and I have this horrible habit of going into my own pocket and eating ramen noodles for months on end to pay for bands on tour and things I believe in. But like I said in another post, the true barometer of this is that the BANDS THEMSELVES put this benefit together to help me. I didn't ask. Sure, 1 or 2 of the many bands I've released over the years could have something bad to say about me or the effort I put in on their behalf. I've also never pulled out my laundry list of douchebags for public viewing either. For the most part, I'll be lifelong friends

Hi, Bill here. The problem is with a new partner in the company who played power games with the bands for his own benefit, which led to us not having any meaningful releases since Jan of 2004. It's a long, boring soap opera that has very little reason to be laid out in all it's infantile glory on this site. Here's a tidbit for you haters: The benefit was NOT my idea. I was perfectly willing to let things run their course. The bands are the ones who offered TO HELP me out and put it together- before I knew anything about it. I find it pretty amazing and a testimony to loyalty that bands who have gone on to other labels came back and offered their assistance. That speaks more volumes than your anemic barbs from the safety of anonymity. I don't know who you are or why you are so bitter. If you have a legitimate problem you could always email me directly.
